Generally, clicking on a notification for a match and it no longer being available means another driver has accepted the match prior to you or it was canceled. It is possible that the notification reached another driver first and being an on demand service, what shows as available is what is available to accept. For instance, another driver might accept a match and take it off the list for others. Additionally, a shipper might cancel a delivery opportunity due to changes in their plans, rendering the match unavailable for any driver.
Notifications are sent out to every driver in the area, but any number of variables could effect when it arrives. To give an example, phone reception, distance to pickup, your location updating, or needing an app update, could affect when a notification is received. Just make sure notifications and location services are turned on. You can also check the notification settings (banner, badge, lock screen) and optimize your notification settings. Regularly refresh your Matches tab in the app to see the most updated opportunities, and remember to act quickly if a match interests you as they can be claimed by other drivers in real time.
On FRAYT, pre-listed match prices are non-negotiable. Matches may also be limited based on geographic location and proximity to services, so understanding location-dependent availability can help tailor your focus on feasible matches.
We review our in app processes regularly to ensure the app is working properly. If you believe there is a bug in our notifications system, (I.E. Repeat singular match notification, lack of notification for match that is in the app) please leave a brief description of the issue and your phone model in a support chat so it can be investigated by our development team.
